This beautiful quirky hand crafted cabin by Steve is the epitome of pure comfort and relaxation. Why not indulge yourself this Spring by booking this charming cabin situated on Little Doe Meadow. Beaver Tail Cabin is an exquisite alternative to the mundane holiday lets if it's nature and tranquility that you're looking for. The cabin consists of a dining area at the far end with enough space for 4 people to dine. A small kitchenette which is well equipped holds everything you'll need. There is a mains kettle and toaster if you do not wish to use the single hob camping stove that is available for cooking. The water and lights are run from solar battery with a small fridge run on mains. The water container can be found beneath the sink and can be re filled by the main tap at the end of the toilet block. A torch is provided for you to use and a cable to re charge. The super king sized bed and 2 singles are on a raised platform above the dining area (please see photos) The beds are reached via vertical ladders either side of the cabin... the first few attempts may be challenging however we see this as part of its quirkiness and charm. There is a small gap between the super king bed and the singles which is separated with a short curtain. To ensure the safety of children please make sure that they are well supervised. Due to this factor we have applied an age restriction of 0-12 years. Unfortunately Beaver Tail Cabin is not equipped for wheelchair users however we are looking into making one of our cabins wheelchair accessible... so watch this space. Separate showers and toilet facilities are within a few yards of the cabin. Please ensure that you bring your own towels. A patio area has been built onto the front of the cabin and there is a delightful picnic bench in the space in front of the cabin. Your furry friends are more than welcome on request for a small fee. Steve who is 57 years young was raised in the family home at New Farm House in Holme Marsh Lyonshall. Back in the day it was a vibrant 60 acre farm, now however it has been reduced to 7 acres. Steve found his love of furniture building and started his own business building and selling 4 poster beds around the world, many of which went to Hollywood film stars and Rock Legends. His onsite workshops showcase his talents. Steve has personally hand crafted ll of our cabins, the newest addition being a superbly renovated horse box...named Ox Box. I defy anybody to not have the perfect nights sleep in one of our cabins.
