After traveling for work, and living in different hotels from week to week for many years,  I decided that owning and running my own Bed and Breakfast was a challange that I was willing to take up when I returned to the UK to live full-time in the town that I grew up in. Taking a huge risk, I bought this property, a 2 bedroom bungalow at the time, and started building, renovating, and changing it to the B&B it is today... while the main part of the B&B is complete and currently enjoyed by guests, I still have plans to continue improving - including the garden area for guests to enjoy! (you can follow the changes to the property on the page blog) I am a small independent business in the heart of Tadley and have a small friendly team that helps with the smooth running of the B&B. I share the house with Ted the dog, Harry the cat, and the free-ranging mad rescue chickens in the garden (who provide the eggs for breakfast) Having opened in August 2019, it's been an interesting time, having stayed open to accommodate key workers and taking on 2 additional jobs during the 2 years of lockdowns. We have 4 rooms and would like you to enjoy your stay in comfort, so you will find in each room, the following; Private En-suite bathroom, equipped with towels, complimentary toiletries pressured showers, low-level WC, and sink. Tea and coffee-making facilities, Hairdryers, flat-screen TVs with Freeview, Free WIFI, desk working area and office chair, complimentary bottled water, full-length mirror, and beautiful shutters, giving you blackout option at night and allowing complete privacy during the day still allowing in natural light. With the Breakfast room downstairs, you can enjoy the breakfast options 7 days per week. Apple Tree Place is situated on the main high street of Tadley. Which itself is nestled in the triangle of Newbury M4 J12, Reading M4 J11 and Basingstoke M3 J6 and only a 35 minute drive to Heathrow. We are a 2 minute drive to business locations such as AWE, Caleva Park and Easter Park and we are within walking distance to Tadley swimming pool and gym as well as other local amenities. We are also surrounded by beautiful countryside, wedding venues and national trust properties.
