The holiday park is ideally situated on the coastal path between Goodrington Sands and Broadsands beaches. The sea view from the van and nearby headland is lovely. The new pool and jacuzzi can be found above the reception next to the bar and restaurant. My holiday van is ideal for a quiet relaxing break or a more active visit as there are plenty of tourist attractions nearby. I had a lunch recently which was an unexpected treat...The Chart Cafe in Brixham is very unusual in that it also houses the owners cruise liner memorabilia from a bygone age. The owner recommended Beamer Restaurant for those who enjoy seafood. Happy to suggest places to go to those who'd like to try something a bit different.

I love spending time outdoors and South Devon offers a wonderful variety of scenic locations. I live nearby in Totnes which is full of fabulous cafes and restaurants along with independent shops and a lovely little cinema. While growing up in New Zealand I was a big fan of The Famous Five books and this area is ideal for picnics with 'lashings of ginger beer'. I love seeing families enjoying 'bucket and spade' holidays, like I had growing up, and am pleased to offer families and couples the opportunity to spend quality time with each other.

With both nearby beaches having restaurants you can choose to sit and take in the lovely views or get on to the sand with a picnic. The Venus Cafe at Broadsands has terraces with sea views and is a favourite spot to eat in the day. There is also a bar and kiosk. If you'd rather not pay for parking the walk on the coastal path, from the holiday park, takes about 20 minutes to walk while the walk along the road takes about half an hour . There is a flight of steps to tackle with a bench halfway for those needing to rest. Beyond the kiosk is a mini golf course. Goodrington Sands has a waterpark, arcade and shop selling everything needed for the beach. There are two restaurants with a bar and The Waterside Pub is only a 10 minute walk from the holiday park. Paignton has plenty of activities on offer...crazy golf with a pirate theme; pier with arcade and outdoor fun. There are restaurants near the seafront along with kiosks selling burgers and ice creams. The restaurant behind the cinema has fantastic views of the sea and serves delicious pizza. It doesn't look much from the outside so people are often suprised at how attractive the interior is. Torquay has a very attractive harbour surrounded by restaurants. There is a small beach, with cafes with outdoor seating, opposite. The Riviera Centre nearby has a large pool with a wave machine. Escape Rooms can be found in Paignton, Torquay and Newton Abbot. The Pirate Festival in nearby Brixham is very popular and a regular ferry to Torquay and Paignton can be caught there. The 12 bus stop is on the road outside the holiday park and the bus offers great views from the top deck. More information about local attractions can be found inside the park laundrette.
