Perched in the heart of Dartmouth, Devon, is the charming two-bedroom cottage. This property is perfect for couples or a family of four looking to get away from it all, thanks to its convenient and elevated position above town; the property has breath-taking views of the River Dart. There is a front garden with seating where you can enjoy meals while taking in the beautiful scenery, whilst you stay at this centrally-located place. The back is for access and bin storage, only. The ground floor features a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for whipping up tasty dishes to share with friends over a glass of wine at the four-person dining table. Make your way over to the sitting area, where you can unwind with your favourite movie on the Smart TV with Freeview. The ground floor is completed by a shower room for your convenience. You can take long, relaxing baths in the first-floor bathroom's roll-top bath before retreating to one of two beautifully decorated bedrooms, a king-size with a balcony and a zip/link, or a lovely double. A parking permit for one car is available, left at the property for your arrival. This is usually kept on the kitchen table and the parking is located at Mayors Avenue Car Park, just two minutes drive or a six minute walk from the house.

Explore the bustling town here, where you can stock up on essentials at the nearby convenience store, treat your loved ones to a meal at The Seahorse, The Angel, or Platform 1 Champagne Bar & Restaurant for dinner with a view over the River Dart. Within the town, you can also hire a boat along the River Dart. See the sights and delve into history at the Dartmouth Museum, picnic in Coronation Park, stroll through the picturesque Royal Avenue Gardens, or visit the popular sights of Bayard’s Cove Fort and Dartmouth Castle. You can also go for fresh seafood at Rockfish, traditional English fare at Bushell's Riverside, pub fare at The Cherub Inn, and fresh pizza at Vinos Pizzeria. From the harbour, you can catch a ferry over to Kingswear, home to its own magnificent castle, The Ship Inn and the stunning National Trust – Coleton Fishacre. For a day at the beach, head to the Blue Flag Blackpool Sands, where you can bathe with your favourite book, try your hand at water-sports and dine at the on-site café. Further afield, you can enjoy the delights of Totnes, with its remarkable castle, The Timehouse, Totnes Rare Breeds Farm and the South Devon Railway. By car reaching Paignton and its selection of attractions, with firm favourites as Paignton Zoo Environmental Park, visits to Paignton Pier, where you can enjoy a bag of fish and chips whilst overlooking the shoreline, or perhaps discover Clennon Gorge for a nature-filled hike. Complete your getaway by reaching Totnes Castle, possible to reach with a walk alongside Longmarsh, before returning to your abode for sundowners.
