All the bedrooms are ensuite. and have amazing views. Our delicious breakfasts are served in the attractive ground floor lounge looking out towards the harbour. My breads, oatcakes, jams and tattie scones are all home made with many extras.

45 John Street is centrally located in the historic town of Stromness. The ferry and bus terminal are 100yrds opposite the B&B. The bus service is regular and reliable so very convenient for visiting historical sites if you are on foot. Gift shops, craft exhibitions , restaurants and cafes are just a short stroll along the bustling street. The famous Pier Arts centre and the local museum are also worth a visit A hike up Brinkies Brae, an evening stroll around the harbour or a long walk along the West shore towards the golf course are also a delight. Further afield we have Standing stones of Stenness, Ring of Brodgar, Skara Brae and Skaill House all within 5 mile radius. Please book in advance online as they get extremely busy.
