A lovely 3-bed cottage in the heart of the village of Sway, right on the doorstep of the New Forest. Shops, cafes, and a pub walking distance away with a 10% discount for our guests, the open spaces of the New Forest a short bike ride or 12-minute walk away, while the port town of Lymington and neighbouring village of Brockenhurst are very close as well. We are just a 5-minute walk from Sway train station, and we have off-street parking at the house as well. Also includes private garden. Within easy walking distance of shops, pubs and train station, just 90 minutes from London. Guest access You have access to the whole house, no sharing of spaces. Other things to note We also have available a baby safari cot, a high chair, and a toddler bed guard rail. But please let us know which you need at the time of booking. We do not provide bed linen for the cot. Please also let us know if it might be advisable for any of the beds to have (noiseless!) waterproof mattress protectors. Groceries: there is a Co-op just one minute away from us. Also, there is a great local butcher in the village. EV charging: there is a Tesla charger in Brockenhurst, and others in Lymington garages.

The village of Sway dates from Anglo-Saxon times and is listed four times in the Domesday book of 1086. The village is best known for Sway Tower, also known locally as Peterson’s Folly. Sway is a small yet vibrant village nestled on the southern edge of the New Forest National Park in Hampshire. Just four miles from the georgian town of Lymington and the solent coastline, its location makes the village a haven for walkers, horse riders, cyclists and sailors. Getting around If you are traveling by train, our cottage is just 5 minutes walking distance from Sway train station. If you are driving, it has an off road parking space available for guest use, as well as several on-street in front. The best way to experience the area is on foot or by bike, or horseback for those with the experience!
