Zoku has invented a new category within the hotel industry with its home-office hybrid concept and award-winning Zoku Loft. Opened in 2016 in Amsterdam by Dutch entrepreneurs Hans Meyer and Marc Jongerius, Zoku is named after the Japanese word for family, tribe or clan. Here you can escape the busy center of Paris and hang out where the locals do. Visit the stately Musée national Jean-Jacques Henner and its 19th-century portrait, or head down the Batignolles district, which is home to narrow streets packed with shops, wine bars and eateries. The closest Metro station, Porte de Clichy, is just across the street and offers direct connections to all major landmarks. Gare du Nord is 30 minutes away by car and public transport.
