In Foncine-le-Haut, Auberge de la Rivière is typical house of the Jura Region and offers an outdoor swimming pool and ski storage. It is just 20 metres from the Saine River Banks. The rooms are individually decorated and feature a flat-screen TV. The rooms have a private bathroom with free toiletries and hairdryer. A continental breakfast is served at the hotel and in the comfort of guest rooms. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant upon prior reservation, at least 48 hours in advance. Guests can go Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and fishing in the area or go hiking along the Grande Traversée du Jura Trail, 1 km away. Chaux-des-Crotenay is 15 km away, the Hérisson Waterfalls are a 25- minute drive away, while Les Rousses Ski resort is 35 km away.
