Le Gite du Petit Renard is a tranquil gite located in a peaceful corner of the Haute Vienne. A stay at our gite will give you the space to disconnect from the daily hubbub and just be in the moment. Attached to our home the annex is well equipped, light and airy. You have exclusive use of the pool and private garden. Explore our eight acres of meadow parkland, wood and lake. A slice of paradise in which you can breathe in the peace and calm. We live in a rural area, and have chickens, so there are crows from Elvis the rooster, sheep, cows and tractor sounds, all part of the countryside!

The Haute Vienne is a walker and cyclists heaven. There is plenty to keep the lovers of outdoor adventure happy. Using Le Gite du Petit Renard as a base, take trips to visit the many chateaux and beautiful villages this part of France has to offer. On our doorstep are Le Dorat, Montmorillion, Confolens, Oradour-sur-Glane, Bellac, Rochechouart to name but a few. Starry nights here are magical with hardly any light pollution watch the sun set over your pool or down by the lake. We live in a hamlet surrounded by working farms so not surprisingly there are farm sounds such as rooster crows, tractors that trundle past and sheep baa-ing! A car or motorbike is essential in this part of rural France. Once here the roads are great for cycling.
