Situated in Brévands in the Lower Normandy Region, 35 km from Bayeux, Holiday home Haras du Ry boasts a barbecue and terrace. Located near the D Day beaches of the Normandy Coast the private gated property offers four high quality, secluded French farmhouse gites/cottages. The farmhouse buildings are characteristic for this region with limestone walls and slate shingle roofs. Each gite has a private entrance. The gardens are brimming with apple, pear, cherry, plum, walnut and chestnut trees bordering a private lake leading to 75 hectares of rich pastures and shady laneways that stretch down to the maire lakes. The property is also home to the world class international sport horse facility Haras Du Ry. There are many famous tourist locations within easy reach including the medieval walled city centre in St Lo (30 minutes) Le Mont St Michel(1.5 hrs) the cathedrals & tapestries in Bayeux (30 minutes) Monets Garden at Giverny(2.5 hrs) , D Day beaches (15-40 minutes), Paris (2 hrs by train).
