Château Ratou is a mansion dating from the early 18th century, ceded by the Count of Espié, Lord of Saint Lys, Bastide village at the gates of Toulouse and the Gers. Rich of its history and spanning through the centuries, the mansion has been preserved and restored as per the rules of the art. The atmosphere of the place, the terrace and the gazebo reflect the French art of living. The spring and the pond allow for taking a break during the tour of the park. The mansion has an outdoor heated swimming pool which allows to prolong the swimming in the season. A famous table d'hôte (dinner at the mansion or on the terrace overlooking the park, consisting in 4 services, to be booked latest the day before) is available to the guests throughout their stay. The "Assiette du Château", a delicate lunch plate, can be ordered at the pool or on the terrace. The hosts will be happy to advise of the many excursions possible in the Toulouse area and the Pyrenees. There is a choice of selected restaurants around, some recommended by the many guests themselves over the time. Please note that the house is unfortunately not equipped to welcome children or teenagers
