Welcome to the Good Life School in North Karelia! We are located near Koli National Park in Tuopanjoki, nestled in a rural idyll. The old building, constructed in 1932, functioned as a communal school until 2004. After its closure, it was sold into private ownership. We have since renovated it into a cozy homestay and retreat. The carefully thought-out details and the wonderful, romantic country atmosphere of the surroundings will make visitors feel at home. We offer room rentals for both short and long stays, with options for private or shared kitchens and bathrooms. A skiing track and nature path start right from our backyard. Additionally, volleyball and frisbee golf facilities are available through the local village foundation. Neighbourhood information

The school is surrounded by beautiful woodland and countryside. The lush green forest surrounding the school is a protected area for the protection of gliding squirrels. There is a nature trail about a kilometre long, where you can experience the mystery of the forest and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.
