Cozy livingroom with fireplace, spacious bedroom and our traditional wood heated sauna are waiting for you at Guesthouse Solbacka. The Guesthouse is situated at our own yard where our home is too but you still have your own compleate peace when visiting us. The kitchen area is small and it is most suitable when cooking breakfasts or light evening food. The sink and fresh water for kitchen can be found at the bathroom. Our Guesthouse was originally built and owned by The Iittala glassfactory. You can still feel the atmosphere of the old historical glassindustry in our village. We are at your service during your stay, you will find us from our home, the main building. Just call or send a message to us if you need anything. We take extra good care to clean up our Guesthouse to make sure that your stay is pleasent. All surfaces are washed using dry steaming technique. The local R train stops very close to our Guesthouse, literally only about 150 meters. Super easy train connection from Tampere (30 min) or from Hämeenlinna (15 min) with good connections via local train. All city events are close by from the peacefullness of Iittala country side.

Neigborhood and our yard are very quiet and peaceful. Village center is within walking distance and local services such as Iittala glassfactory Outlet, local supermarket, local artisan shops are just around the corner. You will also find a cozy family friendly beach and sport center with tennis court only few minutes from us. How to get to us? That's very easy by car or by train. Tampere-Helsinki motorway junction is around the corner, only 2 km from us. Iittala train station only 100 meters from us. Local R train arrives regularly from Tampere, Hämeenlinna and Helsinki. Travel time from Hämeenlinna only 15minutes, Tampere 30min and Helsinki 1 hour and 30 min.
