Richard and Steve warmly welcome you into their lovely restored country farmhouse in the heart of rural Murcia. As a keen walker and mountain runner we were instantly attracted to the two regional mountain parks of Sierra de la Pila and Sierra El Carche both within sight of our property and also the many trails from our doorstep. As a trained chef my partner Steve likes nothing better than visiting the many local fresh vegetable markets and sampling the food and fine wine in the many local bodegas, bars and restaurants. These opportunities and more attracted us to the location and our knowledge of the locality will help you experience a taste of real Spain.

Los Cuatro Vientos Boutique Bed and Breakfast is situated between two regional parks with stunning panoramic mountain views direct from the property. Come and explore on foot, by bike or by car this beautiful area of unspoiled countryside with its rich tapestry of vineyards, almond plantations and olive groves before sampling the delights of the local food and wine. Jumilla with its world renowned wine is a short drive away where you can visit the cellars and see the wine elaboration process before sampling a range of their award winning wines. There are many bodegas in the area just waiting to be explored. We have many local street markets throughout the week, with our nearest town of Pinoso offering a range of services including shops, restaurants, bars and banks to cater for all tastes, budgets and needs. For us the Paella in the local bar in Torre del Rico is not to be missed for its genuine authenticity as is trying a menu del dia in one of the local bars. We are in a great central location for visiting the many historic towns and castles with Sax, Yecla, Jumilla, Hellin and Cieza within an hours drive. The beaches of Alicante and Santa Pola are also just over an hours away.
