Each room has a small balcony with table and chairs, that has views of banana plantations and La Gomera. On special occasions, you can see the neighbouring islands of El Hierro and La Palma. My husband and I fell in love with Tenerife on our honeymoon in 1989. Since then we have discovered many different sides to Tenerife and all it has to offer. We particularly enjoy the plentiful golf courses here and are keen to showcase them to our guests if required. As a professional tour guide, my husband enjoys sharing his extensive knowledge about the island and it's history. Casa Tranquila is situated in the tranquil traditional Canarian village of Piedra Hincada. It has a few restaurants and bars within walking distance, serving traditional Canarian meals. It is quiet and relaxing and within easy walking distance to Playa de San Juan. Here, there is a wealth of restaurants and bars to chose from along with an unspoilt beach and working port. We are only 50km from Spain's highest point: the iconic volcano: Mount Teide. The North of the island is easily accessible with Buenavista and Masca reachable less than an hour. Los Gigantes is short 15 minute drive to the north west. Travelling South towards Callao Salvaje and Costa Adeje is yet another short 15 - 20 minute drive. Summarising we are in a very good location to travel around and explore our beautiful Island, returning to Casa Tranquila at the end of the day and watching the sun set from our jacuzzi on the top terrace, overlooking the Atlantic and La Gomera. What could be more perfect?
