Located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on Calle Pedro Diaz n. 21, 1.5 km from the Parque de San Telmo, 100 m from the Plaza de Santo Domingo and 350 from the Plaza Major de Santa Ana with the imposing Cathedral, "Casa Doranda" is a typical Canarian house of the late 1800s in stone and wood, restored respecting the original constructive and decorative elements that have been recovered and restored. The house is spread over 3 floors. Private areas for the exclusive use of the owners (Max and Steno) and their cat (Phoebe) are flanked by common areas for guests: entrance, breakfast room on the ground floor; 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin with private bathroom on the first floor, terrace on the second floor. The rooms are furnished with an essential and modern taste that is well related to the ancient structure of the house. In respect of a simple and detached atmosphere compared to customs and frenzy, we have chosen not to have television in the rooms. However, there is a free fiber WiFi connection.

The stay in the house will always be gladdened by the presence of Phoebe, a very good and affectionate 11 year old Ragdoll cat. Reservations are STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED for people who are allergic to cats or do not care for animals

(Moons-Veins 10.00-16.30 and Saturday 10.00-13.30); 10) Rum Factory and Arehucas Pueblo (Moons-Veins 9.00-14.00); 11) Ruta del Pincho in Vegueta (every Thursday evening); 12) Plaja del Ingles and Maspalomas (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays with half-price return bus offer). Not to be missed: paella, pulpo, gofio, roba vieja, fresh fish to be enjoyed in the taverns of the pueblo marinero of San Cristobal or in the restaurants of Las Palmas.
