Combining contemporary comfort and oriental refinement, you will live in an enchanting environment. This wonderful 5-bedrooms traditional-style villa overlooks the Nile and easily accommodates 10 people (in fact it can accommodate 12 in some special cases). The well-appointed rooms are on the first floor (there are 5 rooms and 3 bathrooms) The ground floor has a kitchen, a bathroom, dining and big sitting room and a terrace with a pool. The rooftop terrace is a great place to watch the Nile and the surrounding countryside. From the terrace of the villa, one has a beautiful view over the Nile valley, the Theban mountains, the green fields, and the natural life around the villa. Our geographic position is absolutely exceptional, we are close to the Theban Necropolis, the world-wide renowned cultural center, just the Nile River separate us from bustling town of Luxor, which makes it so easy to reach us.

Villa Al Diwan has a direct view of the Nile River, from the terrace of the villa one has a beautiful view over the Nile valley, the Theban mountains, the green fields, and the natural life around the villa. The Villa is located just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of Luxor city, in the quiet Alaqaltah village at the edge of the western banks of the Nile River in Luxor. It’s about 15 minutes' drive south of the national ferry landing. If you are arriving by private boat (we can arrange it), you can get dropped at the door, we are 5 minutes' walk from the so called “Banana Island.” A stay at the villa offers the opportunity to see the daily life of rural Egyptians and interact with people from Al-Aqaletah.
