Mokko Beachhouse is situated 80 m on the lake Kuremaa. The guests can go by our boot to lake, make fishing, go to swim, jump in the lake after being in beachhouse finnish sauna. On the two large roofterraces guests can lay in the sun, enjoy beautiful view over the lake or over hillside. There is barbeque place in the garden. It all is very peaceful, quiet and safety place for relax but still in only 1 km there is Kuremaa beach with playground for the children, cafe on the beach, small shop and swimmhall. There are bicycles for use. Walking path around the Kuremaa lake (10 km) is going very soon. The next town Jõgeva is in 10 km, there are 4 large shopping centres open 7 days weekly.
I am retired programmer, have restored my family's farm for farmstay. I like travelling myself and have been in many countries over the world in my own. I like to present beautiful places in our surroundings to my countrymen and to guests from other countries.
The next town is Jõgeva with 4 big shops The lovely university town Tartu is in 45 km and worth for visit. The lake Peipsi (5th big in Europe on border with Russia) is in 40 km. The renovated Alatskivi castle (smaller copie from english queens palace in Balmoral) is in 40 km with museum und restaurant. For kids there are leisure park Vudila, estonian animals park Elistvere in 30 km. Very interesting Ice Age Centre welcomes everyone, who is interested in nature, cultural heritage and the environment in Äksi (30 km). The orthodox monastery Kuremäe is in 100 km (the Kuremäe Convent, located in the centre of Kuremäe, was established in 1891, and is the only functioning Russian Orthodox nunnery in Estonia). Hiking trail 4 km are around lake Saare (15 km) and in Endla (30 km) - the study trail of the Männikjärv bog is located in Endla landscape protection area in Jõgeva County. The trail begins and ends in Tooma and runs for 7.3 km. The trail is meant for walking and is marked with blue marks on trees. Completing the trail takes about 2 hours. A 7 m high observation tower,which was constructed by the trail, provides a view of the entire Männikjärv bog.
