Thank you for choosing Garden Villa for your holiday in Las Galeras. We know you have many options to choose from and will work hard to make sure you are happy you stayed with us.
The hotel is well located on a peaceful side street yet a short walk to the beaches and all the restaurants, bars and shops in town. From here it is not necessary to have a rental car to enjoy everything Las Galeras has to offer.
To find Garden Villa turn left onto Calle La Playita, directly across from the only bank in town. Proceed less than 100m and turn right onto Calle Chalet Tropical. We are 300m ahead on your left.
You will find our comfortable studio apartments to be well appointed, bright and breezy. The kitchens are well equipped with quality cookware and utensils so you really can cook if you choose to. Our full length Queen size beds have nice quality mattresses and ceiling fans overhead. All the windows and doors are screened.
The house is set in a tropical garden that produces a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables including mangos, avocado, banannas, papaya, tomatoes and garden greens.
My name is Bill Middleton, I live in Florida and have an aquaculture business in the Gulf of Mexico, growing farm raised clams. For many years I sailed extensively in the Bahamas and the Caribbean. I have always been drawn to clear tropical waters and especially love snorkeling and scuba diving. I have always dreamed of having a place of my own in the islands and building Garden Villa has been realization of that and a lifelong dream come true.
Mel Booth has visited Las Galeras countless times over the years and knows the town and surrounding area very, very well. Several years ago he finally retired from his job in the UK and moved permanently to Las Galeras. He is now the resident manager of Garden Villa and will take very good care of you while you are there.
