The owner of the house lives in the neighboring house and must cross the property to get to his residence. The owner has two dogs, other dogs are welcome. The communal washer and dryer are located in a small outbuilding at the edge of the property. The cottage is located in the historic center of the village of Alt Schwerin in the immediate vicinity of the baroque manor house and the Gothic village church in close proximity to the Mecklenburg Lake District. The surrounding area can be comfortably explored by passenger boat on the nearby Mecklenburg lakes and with the Plau round bus ? alternatively, the nearby sunny beaches of the smaller lakes can be discovered by bicycle.
