The Obere Juchhe has traditionally been a well-known guesthouse where every fellow townsman has celebrated weddings and parties. The building has now been completely modernized to meet today's needs. In the summer of 2020 we started renting out an apartment and renting out rooms with breakfast. From October 2020 it is possible for our guests to cook for themselves in our new common room. You can eat, but you can also sit there to relax or watch TV. In short, a real enrichment of our company.

The area is ideal for wonderful walks, sporty bike rides, cultural excursions or motorcycle tours!

The village of Meernach has an idyllic outdoor swimming pool. A ride to the Hohenwartestausee is worthwhile. Rent a boat or visit one of the beaches. Nice museums; 'Grenz und Heimatmuseum' in Grafenthal, Schiefermuseum in Proptzella. Or visit the Saalfelder Feen caves or the Morazina caves! Nice cities are: Weimar, Saalfeld, Kronach, Erfurt.
