Directly located on the promenade, this traditional hotel in Sassnitz is just 60 metres from the shore of the Baltic Sea. It offers free Wi-Fi, a rustic-style restaurant and scenic views over the harbour. Rooms at Hotel Gastmahl des Meeres feature either country-style or maritime-inspired décor and hand-painted furniture. Comforts include a satellite TV, minibar and a hairdryer in the private bathroom. A buffet breakfast is offered each morning. Freshly-caught fish and seasonal dishes are served in the seaside-themed restaurant, and a selection of drinks is available at the hotel bar. Visitors can explore the Königsstuhl chalk cliffs in Jasmund National Park, just 800 metres from the hotel or discover the HMS Otus Naval Museum, which is just an 8-minute walk away. Sassnitz Train Station is 1 km from Gastmahl des Meeres.
