The Viehbrook farm is cultivated on a total of 25 hectares. The focus is on the breeding of old and endangered domestic and farm animal breeds, the keeping of robust cattle, forage cultivation and agriculture. There is also a game gate with red and fallow deer. As 25 hectares are only a small business for today's agricultural conditions, Kirsten Voß-Rahe and Christian Rahe have decided to operate so-called niche agriculture. Together they breed old and endangered domestic and farm animal breeds, keep robust cattle and have built a game gate with red and fallow deer, the Rahe Ranch. The Viehbrook farm is a recognized livestock ark. The endangered breeds of farm animals on the farm include Skudden, peat bogs, Thuringian forest goats and Bunte Bentheimer pigs, Diepholzer geese, Brakel chickens, Sundheimer chickens and German sparrow hawks. Scottish highland cattle are kept on the farm as beef cattle. The animals' products are marketed in the farm's own restaurant and in the farm shop. The animals all run in the yard or in its immediate vicinity and are accessible to visitors.

The Viehbrook farm is a cultural, educational, adventure center and a registered cultural monument of the state of Schleswig-Holstein. We have various farm animals, some of which are threatened with extinction, live on the farm. Sheep, goats, pigs, cattle, donkeys and horses of different breed found their home here. There is also a lot to discover on the farm with its centuries-old history. Among the historical buildings are a bakery and the almost 150 year old smithy. The DOMO CAMP is located on the grounds of the courtyard and offers you a cozy glamping retreat from which you can start exploring the grounds and the many excursion destinations in the region in a well-rested manner. TRAPPENKAMP ADVENTURE FOREST The ErlebnisWald Trappenkamp is one of the most popular excursion destinations in Schleswig-Holstein. With more than 100 hectares, young and old can discover the forest ecosystem with all its attractions and learn everything about its diversity in a playful way. A wide range of attractions such as game reserves, falconry, barbecue areas, climbing towers, adventure trails and much more make it a varied destination for a day trip. Activities such as guided hikes, carriage rides and pony rides complete the offer. ZOO NEUMÜNSTER There are over 700 animals from more than a hundred different species to be admired in the Neumünster wildlife park. From the stick insect to the capybara to Germany's largest polar bear, there is a lot to see. All this in combination with an adventure playground and the special atmosphere due to the old trees make the park a nice destination for the whole family. EEKHOLT WILDLIFE PARK The Eekholt wildlife park offers children and adults alike the opportunity to get to know the natural habitats in northern Germany and their current and former residents.
