I love Bohemian Forest, I have been visiting it since I was a little girl and I am very happy that I can now give you the opportunity to experience it from the comfort that I have lovingly prepared for you with my husband.

Kvilda is a well-known tourist resort, a starting point for hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing trips. Its location in the centre of Šumava, at the crossroads of the roads to Borovou Lada, Bučina, the Vltava springs, Filipa hut and Modrava, Horská Kvilda and VImperk makes it a natural centre of the area. Thanks to its location and altitude of 1065 m it is the coldest place in the Czech Republic. It is not uncommon for the thermometer to dip below 0 °C at night even in the summer months. The many sunny days in spring and autumn, when it is cool, inverted and cloudy at lower altitudes, make Kvilda attractive not only in the high season but also during these periods. On Kvilda you will find a museum, the information centre of the Šumava National Park, a game preserve with deer and lynx, a playground with a small climbing wall and a cable car, and a sports playground. For winter sports enthusiasts, there are several small ski slopes suitable for children and beginners, and a platform for endless cross-country skiing trails. If you need to stock up or equip yourself, there are several sporting goods shops, bike, electric bike, ski, cross-country ski, snowshoe and other equipment rentals, such as scooters and electric scooters. This is rounded off by the many restaurants, cafés, the Kvild bakery and the U srubu brewery and grill in the centre.
