Chalet is in row of four, second from the left. Architecture was typical for 70s-80s communist era, where all the development was made and ran by state enterprises for their employees. We have made total reconstruction of the chalet in winter 2020/2021, so we can now offer clean small cosy space for pair or small family. Chalet is placed in the woods not far from the lake and for its position it is very popular for czech guests especially in summer months (in which property is prebooked for repeating visitors). We have found it very attractive off season though (inc. a bit of bizzare post-era architecture of all the area) and so we decided to make recontruction and offer via booking to new customers.

We have been spending in the area a lot of our family vacations in the "state companies" camps in the beginning (30-40 years ago) and then we have bought this property (late 90's). We love water (windsurfing, kitesurfing, yachting...) and the nature.

Nature around the lake is totally unique - tall pines, white send bellow them and then suddenly moss and reeds. Chalet is placed under these trees not far from the lake with stones and trees on the shore or long sand beaches. In 1930's it was compared to french riviera (source: czech version of wikipedia). 1. bathing - most of the visitors comes to area because of the lake and time spend of beaches. afterwards (esp. in the summer months) there is very active social life around the lake (parties, discos, bars, bier gardens...) 2. trips by foot - woods, hills, around the lake. SWAMP is czech national nature reserve as a part of the lake area with a lot of peat 3. trips by bike - our kids love trips in the woods around the camp without parents. when "road" then we mostly go to the Kokořínsko area, when mountain we go to nearest two hills and surprisingly we enjoy very good downhill although there is no official single track. 4. water sports - small trouble is that to get any gear to water you have to use the car. 900 or 1100 meters to walk is fine and pleasent in woods with beach bag but not with windsurf or small boat. but you can reach parking in "camp borný" 1,6 km (3 min. by car)
