Villa Phos at 645m above sea level in the village of Kathikas, Paphos is just 2km from the centre of the village. Villa Phos has been completely renovated in 2022, with modern decorations, simple lines combining the grey colours, wood and glass. Large openings allow light to enter all spaces, an element that has inspired us to the choice of the name. The Villa is surrounded with fruit trees and vine yards that visitors can enjoy, lemons, figs, grapes and vegetables the hosts plant. The villa offers peace and relaxation. The two large western terraces, with panoramic, unobstructed view of the Coral Bay and Akamas peninsula with the magic sunset. The spacious rooms, modern bathrooms, equipped kitchen and a large dining room also ensure a comfortable stay for 6 people.

I am Harrys, I was born and raised in Paphos and I have studied "Travel and Tourism". For many years, I worked in a family business in the catering sector. I had the opportunity to meet and serve people from different countries, with different culture and mentality. Closing the cycle of the business, my parents retired and today I am in the field of sales. The village of Kathikas is my mother's village, where as a child I spent all of my summer moments with my grandparents and cousins. In the last few years, my parents have been living and enjoying the village and the wonderful cool and dry climate in summer. Villa Phos was created with lots of love, aiming to offer guests relaxation in a modern, warm space. Knowing the area very well, my parents who live in the studio next door and I will be happy to give you information and tips on how to enjoy your vacation.

This small and traditional village of Paphos is located at an altitude of 645 meters and has been inhabited since ancient times. It is ideal for agrotourism, due to its quiet environment. Kathikas is well known the last few years for its traditional taverns where someone can taste cypriot cuisine or enjoy a quick snack, a pizza, a buffet or a fancy cocktail. A small mini market in the center of the village can provide to visitors basic essentiels. Just 23 kilometres north of Paphos, you can reach the village through the villages Tsada and Stroumbi or by coastal drive through Pegeia. Maintaining its traditional charm, the village has residences dating back more than a century and serve as typical examples of folk architecture, while it also has many old and interesting churches. The small donkey sanctuary complements the authentic character of the village. Kathikas is one of the wine producing villages in Paphos region therefore two great wineries (Vasilikon and Sterna) are open to visitors for a wine tasting experience. Its name is said to come from the verb "to sit", due to the perception that the village when viewed from a distance, seems to “sit” on a flat location. Well known, also, for its traditional orthodox easter customs that all visitors can follow.
