Funcos are the traditional houses of Chã das Caldeiras. They are always circular in shape and with a stone facelift. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with hot water. In an ecological concern, the furniture is made of pallets. Rainwater is captured to supply the well and the water used is reused to water the plants and flush the toilets. Electricity comes from solar panels and the Funcos have water heated by a solar water heater. Unlimited WiFi is also available for customers.
