Malpais and Santa Teresa are two small towns located on the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, in the province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica. These two towns have become increasingly popular in recent years, especially among surfers and beach lovers. They offer a laid-back atmosphere, beautiful beaches, and some of the best surfing in the country. In addition to surfing and tidepool exploration, Malpais and Santa Teresa offer plenty of other activities and attractions, including yoga, horseback riding, hiking, and zip-lining.
