Hi, we are Pavel and Paula, czech – chilean couple who created La Frontera Lodge and Eco Camping. Our Place is located along the Cochamó river, surrounded by native forest where nature has created a magical and welcoming place perfect to relax and connecting yourselves with the surrounding landscape. We are located at 8 km from the town of Cochamó, 5 km from Reloncaví Fiord and 500 meters from the trailhead to the La Junta. The season 2016 we decided to start building our dream, a hexagonal Lodge, made with our own hands. One of the reasons why we chose a hexagon is its comfortable and cozy shape, perfect for a lodge. The center room is a large space with a living-dining place common for our visitors, playing an important role creating a perfect environment to socialize with a coffee or read a book by the fireplace. Our Lodge is not connected to the electrical system, we get our energy using solar panels. We also offer Biomagnetic Therapy; Relaxation and Detoxification Programs. Hello, my name is Paula Sanza Riady, I'm Chilean; Civil Industrial Engineer and Biomagnetic therapist. In 2008 in New Zealand, I met my life partner Pavel Drabina. After getting married in 2009, we lived between Chile and England for a couple of years and in this time we visited different places that have deeply inspired us, places like India, Nepal and Morocco, where the idea of ​​"La Frontera" began to take shape . In recent years I found my vocation, natural medicine, and began to practice as a Biomagnetic therapist, a wonderful complementary therapy for healing, both physical and spiritual. Pavel Drabina is Czech, with a degree in Journalism and Environmental studies. He is the builder and carpenter behind the project La Frontera and he is inspired and influenced by japanese architecture and sustainable way of building. His love for the mountains and nature led him to travel to different parts of the world, finding his place in the Cochamó valley.

In our place you can enjoy swimming in the wonderful river pools, fishing, walking the old path along the Cochamó river (which connected with Argentina) or simply relax under the shade of native tree. We are located at 8 km from the town of Cochamó, 5 km from Reloncaví Fiord and 500 meters from the trailhead to the La Junta. La Junta is an impressive place, surrounded by huge granite walls, native forests, rivers, waterfalls and natural water slides. In recent years it has become a popular destination for climbers for its huge granite walls, but it is also a great destination for trekking, fishing, or just to enjoy nature. The fact that can only be reached on foot or horseback, after about 4 to 6 hours, allowed to preserve the environment and the purity of the place. Cochamó is a very nice little town on the banks of Reloncaví's fiord, with a beautiful view of the Yates Volcano is the perfect place for a kayak ride or visit the waterfront and the beautiful church.
