Surrounded by a forest, Hüttenhotel Husky Lodge is located in Muotathal, just 700 metres from the Hölloch Cave, offering modern Alpine-style bungalows and rooms with free WiFi access. The bungalows built of wood feature a fireplace and mountain views. Some of the units feature a flat-screen TV and a sauna. The private bathrooms are fitted with a shower, while some rooms have shared bathroom facilities. Breakfast is available every morning at the Husky Lodge's restaurant. A bar is also at guests' disposal. Guest's of the Hüttenhotel Husky Lodge can enjoy dog-sled rides and an exciting outdoor adventure program. Snow shoe hiking and ski tours are offered as well. A free ski storage room can be used, and a sauna and recreation area is available as well (for some rooms free of charge). Free private parking is possible on site. The Illgau Ried Cable Car is located 5.1 km away. The Bödmeren Nature Reserve is within a 30-minute drive.

    Hello, thank you for your message. At the moment we do not offer sleigh rides because there is no snow yet in Switzerland, the sleigh rides start around December until end of March. If you wish to do any other husky activities, please contauct us.

    Hello, yes we have many activities with the huskies, also in summer! Visit of the kennel, help with feeding the dogs, walks with them and more. We're looking forward to welcome you next July.

  • What other activities you have please?

    We have kennel visits, short walking tours, feeding the huskies, trekking and many other activities with the dogs. Without dogs there is a via ferrata, nice walking tours around the lodge and we have a restaurant and a playground area for the kids.

  • hi, we travel with our 2 small cats (females, less than 3kg) they're well behaved and used to staying in hotels with us. are they welcome?

    Hello, yes you can bring your cats to our hotel for a small cleaning fee. Please be aware we have dogs on our premises, so keep your cats indoors or on a leash outside at all times. Thank you very much!

    Good day, we hope to have enough snow by that time, but we can not guarantee it. The most sure months regarding snow in Muotathal are January and February.
