Welcome to our unique and charming apartment nestled within a house handcrafted by a skilled civil engineer in the picturesque city of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Situated near the tranquil Niven Lake, this accommodation offers a perfect blend of comfort, natural beauty, and easy access to the mesmerizing wilderness where you can witness the enchanting Northern Lights.
A civil engineer with a passion to build infrastructure. In my free time, you can find me hanging with my friends for a latte, or enjoying Yellowknife's premier beer at the Brew Pub. Niven Lake is a nice, trendy and safe neighbourhood. Take a walk or a drive and enjoy the beautifully curated neighbourhood with uniquely designed houses and view points. Stroll down the hill from Niven Lake to Canada’s wildest neighbourhood - Yellowknife's Old Town - described in Spectacular Northwest Territories as the "zany, historic, outdoorsy epicentre of the city", Here you will find a wild array of log-cabins, waterfront mansions, First Nations art galeries, fresh-fish restaurants, rustic coffee shops, a brew pub, bike/canoe/kayak-rental shops, the snow castle, fishing boats and bobbing houseboats. The North’s best events, including sled-dog races and floatplane gatherings - and most colourful people, like the SnowKing, are found here. Downtown is a 3 minutes drive from the house or a 15 minute walk along the Niven Lake trail. Within a few blocks you will find a grocery store, drugstores, coffee shops, restaurants, banks, bars and other amenities. Yellowknife also has door dash for deliveries and you can also call a cab to get around.
