My family and I have been staying at short term rentals (STRs) since 2014, when hotels couldn't accommodate the five of us. We love experiencing cities and the authenticity of neighbourhoods wherever we visit. Staying in homes affords us the opportunity to cook with local ingredients, and relax with space. After many years of staying at STRs, we decided to host our own place! All of our experiences have shown us what we like and don't like, what works and what doesn't. A quiet street in a bustling neighbourhood is possible! Enjoy the convenience of having groceries, bakeries, cafés and restaurants just a couple of blocks away, with minimal noise or traffic. There are two parks with playgrounds and a spray park (summertime) only a few minutes walk away to keep the little ones entertained. Three main transit lines are just one, two, and five short blocks away. Enjoy a 5 min walk to West Broadway, or a 20 min walk to the beach. Granville Island and downtown are a short drive away. It's approximately 20 minutes to either Downtown, UBC or the nearest Skytrain Station by bus. Closest mountain (Grouse) is about half an hour drive away! As our property is a corner lot, you will have open access to free parking on the side street or the front avenue.
