Quebec was fantastic! The old city is amazing and the Christmas decorations are the best I've ever seen - elegant and classy. We saw the hotel, did the Citadel tour (very good), drove around with an audio guide, did the Aquarium (it also has an Artic Fox, Polar Bears, Seals and Walruses), and Montmorency Falls. We also did an escape room at Cabinet Mysteriis (English and French options available) and that was one of our best experiences of the trip - highly recommend!

A winter getaway to Quebec City was absolutely magical.
A winter getaway to Quebec City was absolutely magical. From the twinkling Christmas lights, to the slick cobblestone streets, to the music emanating from various parts of the city, it just felt like a perfect place to be as we ended 2024 with my family. Some highlights of my four day visit included Dufferin Terrace toboggan, Petit Champlain, historical sites, a wonderful trip sledding at Valcartier, a visit to the ice hotel, Mont Morency falls, Le Grand Marche, and some trips around town to find some of the most delectable breads and brunches.

Quebec City has everything you'd expect!
Quebec City has everything you'd expect! Tons of restaurants, little shops, and a great range of hotels. The people are very friendly and around the Holidays...it can be "magical" when it snows.
If you enjoy photography, you'll find some terrific opportunities for that "great shot!"

Loved the city... it's spectacular.
Loved the city... it's spectacular. Used to California weather so our December trip was very cold for us, but still worth every minute! Prepare for cold and snow! Thermals and snow coats, gloves, shoes, and hats. The Christmas decor everywhere is just beautiful! Would love to see the city in Spring or Summer sometime. The history and architecture are fascinating! You have to see Le Chateau Frontenac or stay there if you can. We stayed and had the Sunday brunch... fabulous! If you love history, art, culture, food and beauty, you have to visit Quebec City. The old town and all the sites, restaurants and shopping are the best! Tavern Louise restaurant is a must do!!

A great city for strolling around .
A great city for strolling around . We got lots of exercise walking along the promenade, strolling around the old streets and going up and down the stairs. We found a wonderful jazz bar where we went for 3 evenings. Ex Muro art gallery was excellent , especially their exhibition on “Bad Art” . Numerous excellent restaurants and pubs and great views everywhere.
Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

THe location of the hotel is suberb right next to the much more expensive chateau frontenac, close to everything in old quebec city palace royal, ferry to levis, petit champlain neighborhood, so close that you can come take rests at your room during the day. The hotel is also very maintained and rooms for families are perfect. Everything modern and working at a very fair price.
They had all the amenities I needed for a few days stay. Beds were comfy and quite generous with supplies. The hotel is close to the old town and easy to navigate. There’s a grocery store 5 minutes away which was quite handy. Staff were nice and very helpful.
Very comfortable and large room, excellent value for money, breakfast included was delicious with a lot of choice. Hotel is situated conveniently between 2 bus routes to get quickly into Québec old town or the station. The hotel has many restaurants nearby.
Location - close to the bus station and the old town with all the turistic attractions. Have in mind that there is a little climb to the hotel.
The hotel is in the old builiding with nice interior, wooden floors etc.
Hotel is close to the centre of the old town. We were able to park the car and then walk where we wanted to go. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
