Company information
Matt and I have been here for over twenty years and have developed the property as a lifestyle business called Highland Wilderness Tours. We offer cabin rentals and winter-guided snowmobile tours. We also have a nursery and greenhouse and sell produce in the summer. We are always nearby but very hands-off so that you can feel like you're at home.
Penny is always a text away if you have an issue, and Matt will be there to help you if needed. Our cabins are located in the midst of our 134-acre wilderness property, and we're close to some really great beaches, fishing, ATV' ing, and Snowmobiling. Horseback riding is available at South Algonquin Trails, which access the park and are twenty minutes away. Canoe rentals are available on site!
Come stay with us for a quiet holiday on the edge of Algonquin Park. Being at a crossroads means we're close to everything, and all just three hours from Ottawa and Toronto!
We are hands-off, giving you maximum privacy. Once booked, the link provided will give you all pertinent details and self-check-in directions. PLEASE READ the information provided by clicking through to the password-protected page. I can't tell you how many people don't bother, which creates a poor experience for both guests and hosts. We want you to have fun!
The self-check-in directions and all the lists and vital details about your stay are on that page in a clear and easy-to-understand format. We've even highlighted the best places to go and places to eat.
Penny is always available by text to answer any questions. The easiest way to reach us after check-in is by cell. See the number on the listing and text Penny with questions. We are on-site 24/7 with few exceptions and are happy to help as needed.
These are camping cabins. We do not provide dishes, linens, or other comfort items. It is your responsibility to read the link provided and prepare yourself accordingly. Our lists are comprehensive and very helpful.
Prepare yourself for a wonderful stay!
