In 2020 the Bear Studio House was built, 2021 the 3 RV Sites were built, in 2022 the addition of 2 Mint Tiny House Company Park Models (10ft Wide), and the 3rd and final tiny home in August 2023. Enjoy any one (1) of our five (5) detached accommodation units that all have full size kitchen with fridge and stove/cooktop. Beautifully Designed by General Manager and Host Naomi Nicholson, you will love the additional features such as night lights as part of your stay. Ed and Naomi Nicholson were the general contractors for the property and won awards such as the Vancouver Island Real Estate's Building Awards (2nd Place in 2022) and 2023 BE Awards in the Hospitality Division. They love hosting guests along with their 2 dogs, Reina the Rottie and Chims the Black Lab.

Chims Motel has 5 Guest Houses and Host Residence located in Port Alberni on route to Tofino, BC. We are the last accommodations in Port Alberni. We have the biggest and newest rooms all with full size kitchens. Stay Here, Travel There. Our views of Mount Arrowsmith and the Eagles and Ravens fly around and the Bears and Deer walk through the property in the evenings :)

Chims Motel is located on Highway 4 on the edge of Port Alberni on route to Tofino. There are Bears, Deer, Eagles and Ravens that are around the area. There is no bus service and your own vehicle is needed. There are 7 Buildings on the Property; Chims Guest Houses' Original Bear Guest House, Bear Studio House, Hummingbird House, Eagle House, Raven House, Host Residence, and Cultural Building. The Tseshaht Market is 2 minutes away and has a great deli serving breakfast and lunch options
