Welcome to An Oasis by the Bay! An Oasis by the Bay is located above the fishing village of Cowichan Bay- A charming, picturesque spot favored by visitors to Vancouver Island. The region is known for it’s mild climate and it’s many Vineyards. The modern 1-bedroom guest suite is in a quiet residential area and overlooks a beautiful garden. The Kitchenette: kettle, coffee maker and all the appliances you will need to make a meal. The Bedroom: queen-sized bed, with hotel quality linens and towels, ample closet space is provided as is an ironing board & iron. The Bathroom: walk-in shower, shaving mirror and hairdryer, shampoo/conditioner and body wash are also included. The Living room: fireplace, eat-in area and small workspace. Smart T.V, Wi-Fi and cable are included. The patio: Comfortable chairs in a tropical setting and a BBQ area with a Webber BBQ. It truly is An Oasis for you to enjoy.

Cowichan Bay’s shoreline is dotted with shops, galleries and restaurants where you can sip drinks and eat delicious food while watching the spectacular sunset for an experience you will not forget. You can book whale-watching tours, fishing, sailing and boat cruises from the bay. For those who like golfing there are several excellent golf courses nearby. Wine tasting tours are a favorite, as are Studio tours and visits to art galleries. There are numerous hiking trails in the Cowichan valley, and you can rent bikes, kayaks or paddle boards in Cowichan Bay Cowichan bay is home of the estuary nature center where you can visit to find out more about the herons, eagles and many birds and aquatic animals that call the bay their home. Sea lions are usually present in the fall and other seals are abundant even whales are known to visit the bay. We are a 60 minute drive to Victoria and 50 minutes to Nanaimo.
