The Greenwoods
We are a friendly family home that offers a separate private suite with private entrance and private bathroom and private kitchen in our house to our guests. We are close to downtown Jasper (5 minutes), close to hiking trails, also we offer a lovely patio and BBQ to our guests. We are avid hikers and can explain all the best places to see and activities to enjoy in Jasper National Park. We speak fluent French, German and English. This suite is cozy, clean and comfortable. The beds are new and have feather quilts or non feather/ hypo allergenic blankets upon request. We supply a fully equipped kitchen, just like home ( there is Tea/Coffee for your use) we do not supply any food so if you want to cook you need to bring your own food to prepare in the kitchen. Our patio has amazing mountain views and is a great place to relax in. We look forward to meeting you. Your hosts, Guy and Kerstin Greenwood
We are friendly, and well travelled, avid hikers, mountain and road bikers, outdoor enthusiasts. We enjoy living in Jasper National Park and are happy to share some of our hiking experiences with our guests.
Jasper National Park is unique and very beautiful. The Miette Hot Springs are 45 minutes drive away. Maligne Lake and Boat Tours are 45 minutes drive away. The Maligne Canyon is about 10 kms from town and very nice to see and visit (free). Athabasca Waterfalls are 30 kms, Sunwapta Waterfalls are 50 kms, Horseshoe Lake is 50 kms, Marmot Basin Ski Hill is about 30 kms, Lake Annette and Lake Edith ( our swimming and paddle boarding lakes) are 5 km from town. Pyramid Lake is 5 kms away. The Athabasca River offers White Water Rafting. There is a Museum and a Library , Cinema, Aquatic Centre and Activity Centre in town and the Whistler Hotel has a Wildlife Museum. There are also many great Spas our favorite is the Mountain Wellness Day Spa which offer amazing massages and Spa Treatments as well as a Hair Salon. We love eating out in the many fabulous Restaurants in town as well as great Cafes and Bistros, Wine Bars, Night Clubs and Live Music at the Legion.
