As South African who is a proud member of SADC, I was pleased to finally visit Gaborone. It is a tidy, well organised, reasonably small but impressive city, with good roads and a good standard of living and a highly impressive CBD, and a city of which its people can be justly proud. The people were unfailingly friendly and I highly recommend it to those wishing to experience a successful African country. As an athletics follower, I was excited to visit the home track of 200m Olympic champion, Letsile Tebogo!

Clean. Friendly people.
Clean. Friendly people. Nice place for a short stay on your way through. Restaurants could be better, but that said, the staff and their friendliness and eagerness make up for the lack of "quality" of the food

This is very affordable accommodation in a good location.
This is very affordable accommodation in a good location. However, Unit D3, was not ready at 1400, with clean towels coming 2hrs later. Getting hold of Trish the manager is very hard and becomes frustrating. No water pressure in the en suite shower and little hot water must be improved. Was reported but nothing was done about it. Having bedside tables in the bedrooms is a must.

Very friendly locals, excellent trustworthy taxi driver (Kenny - I made use of him all the time I was there and he was on time, very knowledgeable, pointed out landmarks, chatted amiably, informed - an excellent conversationalist - and I think very fair with his fares.
I found the city incredibly clean and free of garbage. This is exceptional and I cannot say the same about the capital cities of South Africa, unfortunately. My people can learn from the citizens of Botswana.

The pula was more to rands and when i looked at my statement i was not happy :( i think our rands should do better. The people around are friendly and help full. Riverwalk mall not bad at all, we had our meals and bought the snacks too at pick 'n pay. We went for a game drive at Mokolodi Nature Reserve, it is easy to drive around. Next time i need to bring more money and be prepared, as i was not ready for how expensive it was :)
We enjoyed very much our experience with this hotel, starting from the way the shuttle driver received us at the airport, to the check out. Our room was spacious and spotless clean. Staff is very attentive and helpful. The restaurant is very good, offering one of the best breakfast we experienced (for the same level hotels).
I requested additional coffee and milk for the room which I received. We had a problem with the air conditioner which the technician resolved. The location is in a new area of Gaborone which is clean with some restaurants in walking distance.
It’s very close to Gaborone & just off the tarred road. One didn’t have to drive on a gravel road. The facilities are very good & still in excellent condition. Very friendly staff & owner!
It was a well presented hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful at ALL TIMES. I would recommend a stay at Rosenia and if around would have no hesitation in booking again .
