I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Protea Hotel by Marriott Gaborone Masa Square, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Located in the heart of Gaborone, the hotel offers easy access to the city's main attractions, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.
Accommodation: The rooms at Protea Hotel by Marriott Masa Square are modern, spacious, and tastefully decorated. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the luxurious amenities provided, including a comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The bathroom was also well-appointed, with a separate shower and bathtub.
Dining: The hotel's restaurant serves a delicious breakfast buffet, with a wide range of options to suit all tastes. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the food and the friendly service from the staff. The hotel also has a bar and lounge area, which is perfect for relaxing with a drink or catching up on work.
Amenities: The hotel offers a range of amenities, including a fitness center, outdoor pool, and conference facilities. The fitness center is well-equipped, and the outdoor pool is a great place to relax and soak up the sun.
Service: The staff at Protea Hotel by Marriott Masa Square were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone was professional and courteous, making my stay truly enjoyable.
Location: The hotel is located in the Masa Square complex, which offers a range of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. The hotel is also within walking distance of the city center, making it easy to explore Gaborone's main attractions.
Overall: Overall, I would highly recommend Protea Hotel by Marriott Gaborone Masa Square to anyone looking for a luxurious and convenient stay in Gaborone.

In terms of restaurants, there are a lot of varieties especially at shopping malls with some restaurants such as Mozambik and the Braai Place offering traditional meals.

Very pleasant and polite people. The culture there is a kind hearted one. Everyone there just has good vibes. Their exchange rate is good too. You pick up so much and then when you get charged in USD it's a good rate. Lovely place to visit overall.

As South African who is a proud member of SADC, I was pleased to finally visit Gaborone. It is a tidy, well organised, reasonably small but impressive city, with good roads and a good standard of living and a highly impressive CBD, and a city of which its people can be justly proud. The people were unfailingly friendly and I highly recommend it to those wishing to experience a successful African country. As an athletics follower, I was excited to visit the home track of 200m Olympic champion, Letsile Tebogo!

Friendly accommodating staff. It was easy to arrange for a free late check out. I have visited the President Hotel several times over the last few years. two years ago the menu and food was excellent, last year below standard but this time the menu and quality was almost back to what it was formerly. Rooms are spacious with a large writing desk. Compared to similar hotels in the centre of Gaborone good value for money.
We had an amazing stay at this place. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The rooms and overall design of the property are beautiful, adding to the comfort of our stay. The location is also excellent, just a 10-minute drive from the international airport. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Gaborone—highly recommended!
The place was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and wonderfully quiet. It looked exactly like the photos, which was reassuring. The serene atmosphere made it a perfect retreat, and its convenient location was ideal for exploring Gaborone. Motse was incredibly hospitable and attentive, making the experience even better.
Breakfast was lovely and rich.
It was the same spread everyday but it was rich.
