This house with holiday home is the result of a dream, a quest for beauty and connection. When I saw the house I was instantly sold. I had a deep feeling of 'this is where I'm going to be happy'. The house overlooks the quiet village center and is an extension of the 'Cathedral of Rozebeke'. I myself am often surprised how quiet it can be here. My aspiration is to make this place a place of love. Love for yourself, love for the other, love for the silence and nature and where lovers find time for each other.

The Flemish Ardennes are a stone's throw from Ghent. Away from the daily hustle and bustle, time does not force itself on you here. The intact village center of Rozebeke with its monumental church site was included in 2017 as a protected village view. The village has a mythical history and probably dates back to the early 1100s. The name has nothing to do with the rose as a flower, but comes from the Germanic 'rausa', which means reed, and 'baki', which means stream.
