This B&B is the ideal way to combine a visit to Bruges with an overnight stay in a modernist house from the 1920s designed by the renowned Bruges architect, Huib Hoste. In 1995, it was granted protected monument status by the city of Bruges. One of the first houses where Hoste experimented with De Stijl principles, it is characterised by its cubist character, use of concrete and bold play of colours in the interior.

To carefully restore the architectural-historical and socio-cultural value of Huis Billiet, we rolled up our sleeves a lot ourselves. You'll stay in a quiet, beautiful neighbourhood a 15-minute walk from historic buildings such as the Belfry. You also don't have to walk far for a bakery, supermarket, restaurants and breakfast spots. Bruges is a fantastically beautiful city, but is also a central base for a trip to the coast and for cycling and hiking in green surroundings.
