This former monastery offers rooms in the centre of Ghent, only 10 minutes’ walk from the Belfry. PoortAckere dates from 1278 and offers unique character, free Wi-Fi and a garden terrace. Guesthouse PoortAckere Ghent are the old nun’s cells, situated in the historic building. The rooms have a shared bathroom. The restaurant serves elegant cuisine in the dining hall which features a high arched ceiling and gothic windows. There is a cosy bar in the Rector's old office Alijn House and the Design Museum are both within a 10-minute walk from the monastery. PoortAckere Guesthouse is 45 minutes’ drive from Brugge.

英国“地理位置很好，附近晚上人很少，同时离几个景点都很近，走路10min就能到市中心。早餐虽然不错，25欧过分贵了。住宿里面很好，单人间有浴袍、浴巾毛巾和拖鞋，还有一个小的洗手台，这意味着刷牙不需要特地去外面的公共厕所。公共洗浴也很干净。从布鲁塞尔来的，下了火车需要坐一小段的电车。可以说是一个人来根特很好的选择！”
