Our spacious apartment is located in the Brussels quarter Laken in an old and classical Brussels building. Unfortunately, old buildings with wooden floors and wooden ceilings come with a negative: Sound insulation! If you are sensitive to the sounds of your upstairs neighbours: This might not be the accommodation for you! Sleeping arrangements: There is a double bed 180x200 (master bedroom), there is a small, separate room with another double bed 140x200 and when booking for 5 or 6 people, the sleeping sofa (140x200) in the living room will be set as a comfortable double bed. You will then not have a sofa to sit on available, but the large dining room table still offers 8 seats to spend quality time together at your home in Brussels. This accommodation is not located in the centre, but we score high on location because all types of public transport are within a 3 minute (180 metres) walk from the apartment: Buses, trams, metro (all within 180 metres) and even a railway station (700 metres or an 8 minute walk). Parking is public at 1,65 euro per hour from 9am to 9pm on all days. On Sundays and national holidays parking is free. The living room has a Smart TV with free Netflix, Prime Video and Spotify, it is however not connected to cable-TV. You can also stream from your own devices to the Smart TV. Wi-Fi is free and available throughout all rooms of the apartment. All there’s left to say is: Welcome to Brussels!

The Quarter: Laken (in Dutch) Laeken (in French) Your apartment is located in the Brussels quarter called Laken. Within walking distance there are nightshops, supermarkets, restaurants and every Saturday morning there is an open air market just around the corner. Not far from here you can find the King's royal greenhouses, the Royal family's residential palace and the Atomium. The proximity to the stadium Boudewijn/Beaudoin and Palais 12, make this accommodation in high demand if concerts or sport matches are held. In the same quarter you will also find the Brussels Expo Centre. Within walking distance you will find the entrance to a large park at the end of your street. It doesn't take much to get from the apartment to the city centre. A bus (180-190 metres from the apartment) will take you there in 18-20 minutes. The metro and trainstation make it easy to not only discover Brussels, but also the rest of Belgium. AGAIN: We do not offer private parking for our guests. Parking is in our street and the surrounding streets and costs appr. 1,60 EUR per hour from 9.00AM to 9.00PM on all days, but Sundays excluded. Finding a parking is fairly easy from 09:00AM to 03:30PM, after that it can take some time to find an available spot! During all Belgian holidays parking is a lot easier.
