Nohur lake was not so great as i had seen in pictures and read about in description.

The Tafundag Cable Car, Snowfall at Gabala Peak, Nohur lake and Riverside were the highlights of our stay. Dinner at Soyuq Balaq in the forest and shooting, archery and atv bikes added great fun and thrill to our adventurous stay at Gabala. Must visit place in Azerbaijan.

Excellent place to stay for few days; nature, adventure, hiking all in one place. a small stream , ropeway make it just right.
i would have loved to have a few more days in hand . recommend to visit. Only tiring is around 4 hrs drive from Baku , but localities in between helps in taking break and enjoy the drive.

Restaurants in Gabala are rather hit and miss. Some have beautiful locations and friendly helpful staff, but the food is average.
Very few mountain walks available.
Cable car trip is rather a let-down.

Although there is a ski resort in Shadag nearby which must be awesome in winter. We came in summer which is green and beautiful all around. Lots of fresh fruits to eat. Stay in Nahour by the lake . It’s really lovely. Book a cottage

the property is in the city area. the taxi is easily available outside hotel. the hotel room was spacious and clean. our breakfast was included and it was good buffet breakfast. the name of hotel was little confusing for taxi drivers as it is called city hotel but tufandag make it confuse becz it is another area name in Gabala. overall it was very good experience
Everything was awesome, starting with the receptionist Aygun and the other lady who were so helpful and kindly to the room with its full arangements.
The cable car is exist in the 4th floor so no need to go out the hotel.
Beside the hotel there is Gabaland and a sea food resturant.
i recommend strongly to saty in this great hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff, both for hotel and restaurant. Amazing view from the restaurant, but not from the rooms. Good in general, except room view there was almost no window, I'd say. .
