Good cable car fun ride with a nice view for the family with children at Tufandag Hotel and beautifully located restaurant with excellent views serving great hot chocolate, coffee, Greek burger.
Nohur lake was not so great as i had seen in pictures and read about in description.
Stay at Gabala Garden hotel was exceptionally good.

The Tafundag Cable Car, Snowfall at Gabala Peak, Nohur lake and Riverside were the highlights of our stay. Dinner at Soyuq Balaq in the forest and shooting, archery and atv bikes added great fun and thrill to our adventurous stay at Gabala. Must visit place in Azerbaijan.

Gabala is an amazing destination in Azerbaijan. We loved driving to and from. We enjoyed every single second of our stay in the city. The city is small and Cozy. People are welcoming and the hospitality is great.

Excellent place to stay for few days; nature, adventure, hiking all in one place. a small stream , ropeway make it just right.
i would have loved to have a few more days in hand . recommend to visit. Only tiring is around 4 hrs drive from Baku , but localities in between helps in taking break and enjoy the drive.

Restaurants in Gabala are rather hit and miss. Some have beautiful locations and friendly helpful staff, but the food is average.
Very few mountain walks available.
Cable car trip is rather a let-down.

nice room, with supernice view to the garden and the sunset. breakfast in the garden. few minutes by car to nohur lake or gabala. very nice location. One night we were very hungry and was late to go and search for a restaurant, the hotel very kind prepare for us a tray with some bread, kebab, cheese, salad and tea.
I did have a great experience at lakeside hotel and spa. All hotel staff is very friendly and cooperative. Breakfast at hotel was awesome. As we are vegetarian manager Mr.Ceyhun did his best to serve us with all the vegetarian options available with him.
Overall very great stay.
