Great for 3 to 4 dats for sightseeing and experiencing culture and history.
Day trip to Gobustan , mud volcanoes, eternal burning mountain etc are good.
Spend some time in the museum's and visiting modern architecture of Hyder Alev convention hall.
If you want to see Ajerbajahn properly spend few days in the mountains, xinaloug or shieke region. Dry trips from Baku to these areas are too long, tiring and doesn't do justice to those areas. There is more to experience than a day trip.
Try to go in spring or Autumn.

It's a good place, if you are indian you don't like food for that alternative option is indian restaurants are available that's a good things, summer is good but winter is more good for snow places, I used for transportation local buses and metro 🚇, local supermarket shops are very good, I stayed in apartment there I was cooking and stayed like my home that house name is (Dream Home) that place is very good for location city center is far from 3km, use a Bolt request for ride that is also cheap,
for me it good 👍.

We stayed in Baku for 4 nights.
We stayed in Baku for 4 nights. We were able to visit only a few places. Baku City, Quba, Shahdag, Shamakhi Wine Tour, Nizami Street. Baku city is really amazing. Walking along Nizami Street is a really good vibe at night. The flame tower view from the top is good for taking photos. The Little Venice boat ride is beautiful. We mostly ate at Nizami Street restaurants. There are different varieties and options for food. We can book travel through "Bolt App" which is really cheap and fast service. Taxi and private tour service are really expensive. We missed visiting Gabala due to lack of time. The hotel manager arranged a car with a driver to visit places and the only bad experience we had was getting lost without showing the places. Then called the Bolt app and traveled to many places.

Great place to visit but you need to pick the right time of the year (May is the best then June) July it gets a bit hotter and more humid.
If you are looking for greenery, don't go to Baku, go to Shahdag, Gabala or anywhere else.

Baku is a nice, clean and tourist friendly city with a nice weather. It is very well lit at night and I found it to be generally safe. In my view 2-3 days are more than enough to explore the city. We had kept 4 days and felt that it was too long.
Staff were more than friendly and helpful.. always smiling and polite .. they also provided us with all information needed and helped us getting a taxi back to the airport on time - location is perfect. Close to nizami st and to baku old city - 2 mins walk from supermarket and 24/7 bank were you can exchange currency with good rate - for smokers there is a terrace for smoking on the same floor so you dont have to go all the way down to hotel entrance -wifi was good
Outstanding location in the Baku Old City, huge rooms, very clean and comfortable. The desk staff were friendly and very helpful - special shoutout to Orkhan & Valid. They helped with a SIM card issue I had and very kindly called ahead to Sheki to book a room for me at the Caravansari Hotel (that you cannot book online). Highly recommended!
Beautiful hotel and helpful staff. An ideal place for family. Good breakfast. My family loved it.
