Like Aruba in the Caribbean, Cas Elizabeth aims to set a sustainable energy example in the vast area of Aruba’s tourism industry. We use natural resources as much as possible for our daily needs, at the same time trying to protect our environment as best we can. For this purpose we have invested in: - 65 m2 of solar panels - Solar water heating - A biological treatment plant for waste water - A reverse osmosis water purification system, to use recycled water for washing machines and toilet flushing; we are connected to Aruba’s drinking water supply (regarded the best in the world) for the taps and showers. - We have installed a new sealed septic tank, thereby eliminating the practice of the wastewater seeping into Aruba’s soil - Only energy efficient LED lights are used - We have installed new air conditioning with inverter technology, that has one of the highest so called SEERs (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rate) in this field
We firmly believe in "think global, act local" as far as our environment is concerned, and are very proud to be one of the first eco-friendly options on Aruba. We are also proud of everything Aruba has to offer, especially where flora ad fauna is concerned. The underwater world being the most obvious one, we are happy to show our guests the best snorkeling sites, and provide the necessary gear. On land, our favourites are the butterfly farm and the donkey sanctuary, which we actively support through sponsorship.
Location, location, location, are the three most important words about Cas Elizabeth in its neighbourhood. So close to everything that matters, yet so tranquil for relaxing after a hard day at the beach.
