Property information

The heritage of the land dates back over 50 years and the property we see today has been lovingly restored by Warren’s sons. The original house was a beach shack that got blown away in 1970 by Cyclone Ada so Warren built a house he vowed would never blow away again! The ground level has an industrial feel, which is understandable as this floor was used as a curtain and dress making shop for several years. It has now been restored to a spacious living area. With kitchen, laundry, toilet, dining and access to the gardens and undercover BBQ area, it is a great place to cook up a feast and sit and enjoy time together. The second level is home to 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms and bathroom with a nautical feel. Off one of the bedrooms is a balcony that overlooks Airlie Beach with glimpses of the sea beyond. Arranged as a casual bar style area, grab a drink from the bar fridge where you have plenty of space to sit back and relax or lay back and chill out on the sunbeds. The third level wasn’t built until 2014 when Warren added an additional storey. This space has been cleverly designed to include a second kitchen/living area, master bedroom with ensuite and amazing views across treetops giving you one of the best vantage points in Airlie Beach. The property is fully airconditioned and has ceiling fans throughout to ensure complete comfort all year round. There is flat parking for towed vehicles with a height restriction of 2.7 metres. The house was renovated late 2022 ready for holiday rental at its 50 year old milestone in 2023. Please note our properties are fully self-contained with full kitchens and laundries. Linen & bath/pool towels are supplied with beds made up, along with a starter kit of tea, coffee, sugar, toilet paper, milk, and detergents, etc (to get you through your first night). Inclusions: Free Unlimited WiFi Smart TV’s in living areas and 2 x bedrooms Hair dryers Room for the boat, caravan and jet ski's
