Indulge and relax in the luxury of your own retreat, while enjoying the natural environment of lakes, rainforest, rolling hills and open spaces. Each cottage is self contained with 2 bedrooms, balcony and double spa, full kitchen, wood fireplace, reverse cycle air conditioning, BBQ facilities, laundry facilities and off street parking. A continental breakfast hamper is also provided on arrival. We are located 60 minutes from Cairns and 8 minutes from the tranquillity of Yungaburra. Convenient location to the crater lakes and many activities that the Atherton Tablelands has to offer. You will definitely want to stay for longer.
Relaxing in the luxury of your own private retreat, it is easy to leave the internet behind and enjoy all that the Tablelands region has to offer. Take a boat ride and walk the Twin Kauri Nature Circuit at Lake Barrine and the Lake Circuit Walk around Lake Eacham. You can go swimming, cycling/mountain biking, admire the Curtain Fig Tree and expel some energy on the 2km Peterson Creek Walking Circuit and try your luck finding a platypus at the viewing platform. Visit the Avenue of Honour and take a drive around the waterfall circuit: Zillie Falls, Millaa Millaa Falls, Elinja Falls, Mungalli Falls, Sovita Falls and the Pepina Falls (each one unique in its own way). There are guided rainforest walks from the Malanda Falls visitors centre, visit Bromfield Swamp and take in the latest movies at the iconic Majestic Malanda Theatre. Your holiday is not over yet - visit the Bat Hospital Visitor Centre, Crystal Caves, Gallo’s Dairyland and take in some history at Hou Wang Temple -Atherton’s Chinatown. Further afield is the Herberton Historic Village, Spy & Camera Museum. Relax bird watching or sample some of the local produce. There is so much to do on the Atherton Tablelands.
