As an older woman I’ve done a lot of living and I love helping people to have a memorable experience. I share my home with my 12 year old registered assistance dog. Gypsy Moth is a beautiful little white Labrador and we’ve been together since she was 8 weeks old. Together we will make your stay a memorable one. Nothing is too much trouble for our guests. You will leave feeling rested and energised and happy you made the decision to visit us in our beautiful Hydeaway Bay. Ok Our home is open plan ,on poles. Spacious decks and comfortable outdoor furnishings allow for total relaxation while you take in ocean views over the outer reef. Indoors comfortable armchairs and a large sofa allow you to curl up with a good book, selected from our extensive library. The plunge pool is a welcome respirator during the day or after a long hot walk. We can give you information on the lovely walks around us and the beaches which are a stones throw from our home. Others you can drive to only 10-15 mins away. Let us pack a picnic lunch for you or you can call into Gloucester resort or Montes. Gypsy and I are water/beach babes and will be found regularly exploring the reef at low tide. It is where I get the inspiration for my photographic work. We have 2 kayaks on the beach for our guests to use. Snorkelling is also another option . Gardening is a passion of mine and the past 2 years have seen a garden come together on the terraces at the back of the house. This has brought many bird species and butterflies onto the property . All visible from the top deck. Pretty face wallabies delight in eating certain plants then drinking from bird baths before hopping off . So plenty to do or you can do nothing. Your choice. I live in a very quiet area with no direct neighbors either side of me. A walk to the beach is always a get together with neighbors I meet on the way.Hydeaway bay is a quiet hamlet on the beach. A tiny shop at caravan park is available for those food items you forgot to bring. The two resorts are very low key and welcoming to all, Glousester resort and Montes, famous for sunset drinks on the deck.
